i can't really tell what you did here...either you started with a picture of all of them together, and put in the background, in which case it's good but a bit simple, or else you combined a lot of pictures of the pirates seamlessly.

i make all of my bg's!!! unless, i am just doing a random bg, in which case, i'll paste a random pic and select a random area of it define it as a pattern and then fill the whole bg with that pattern. (i have only done that on like 2 of my pics)
