sounds good. it's got that relaxed feel that was so appealing in the original. the beat is good, keep it up!

yeah, my only suggestion is if you raised the volume of the actual tune a little in the first part, it's a little faint, and maybe end with a chord, it kinda cuts off. I love it, though, for a rough draft it's pretty good... [edit] it's it's friggin' AWESOME!! i'm giving it a 5!

Awesome! Sounds really cool, cant wait to hear the rest!!Definitely think you should go with the techno sound, make it a little smoother in the middle and it will be perfect. Actually, it rocks, just make more!!! I really like how you start it out simple with the techno bass line and add all the rest, it really builds well. The beat is great!

thanks! the part that i have the hardest time with, is deciding just how long it should be... when i start a song, i just play it improv. and hope it sounds good, i don't actually plan it out and decide what i do before i play it (which is what i should do *lol*). So it makes it really hard for this particular song, because, ya i don't feel like explaining it, but... its hard! *lol* I am just so glad that you all like it! It lets me know if i got potential for this kinda stuff... Oh ya, because i have A.D.D. i can never stick to one project, so naturally, i've just begun the song of storms, it should be REALLY cool, but this one will be completed far before the song of storms. i spent about a month checking every few days for a new song from you, but then i stopped, and then of course you post one immediately. dude, you're evil. sorry, that was pathetic. ok, aquawolf, iron-knuckle, and girlink said almost everything i was going to say, so this is going to be one of my rare short comments. it's relaxed, but not relaxing. that's good. if possible, try to make it more energetic, without sacrificing the relaxedness or whatever. this is actually one of the few gerudo valley remakes that i like. be careful with the song of storms, and songs like that. they're fine in a video game, but they can get REALLY repetitive otherwise. if you're wondering what to do next, i would recommend the middle-boss music from WW. really. i love that one. maybe it's just me. try to do fast songs. in MM, i like the pirates' fortress and ikana castle, but you couldn't really make them sound good in any other style. fast ones could. like the horse race in OoT. change the style from country to awesome. EDIT: short comment? i wish.

this just in! i am 2 tracks away from being complete (with gerudo's song) and i have about 8 more tracks to go with song of storms, and toot, i am right with ya! here's the way i see it, no matter how cool the way a song is played, playing it over and over and over and over and over again won't get the actual message u were originally trying to send... so in other words, the song of storms won't be longer than 2 minutes... and one more announcement, i have just begun re-recording ganon's theme... and this time, it won't have any errors and will probably become my best song!

you mean 2nd best. you're not going to beat your dragon roost island theme. well, maybe you can, and if you do then you're gonna have to go proffesional. 2nd best wouldn't be bad at all, though.

when the intro of this song ends, a dog barks. do you have a microphone? because from talking to you i suspected you had the keyboard plugged into the...studio, you call it. so that's just another thing you can hear and wince at every time you listen to this song. mistakes like those just stick with you, you know? just stand out whenever you listen to/read/look at anything you create. by the way, i'm going to get myspace eventually, but i just have so little time.

yup myspace rules! and yes, i do have a mic, and have been deciding how i was going to sing and have it still be a zelda song.... i dunno, i have a pretty low voice, so i might do a choir background "AAH." or i might tell a joke... *lol* but ya... i wish so bad i had a good... like really good singing voice. the only way i sound good is if i sing LOUD, and i can usually overpower everybody esle with my voice (in loudness, not goodness *lol*) anybody have suggestions (on a song)

can't you reduce the volume of a track with you singing, so you could sing loud? although that would be sorta weird... but actually, there is a lot of zelda music with background singing. but please don't try singing as a lead part. that would just... not fit.

hm yea the keywords. lol, that video was cool. but not as cool as the Decline series. wow, this comment is way off topic. soooo back on topic... I think it would be cool maybe if you took the baseline of the song (whichever song you're planning to sing to) and sang that- the reason being that baselines are usually simple and so it's not too hard to hard to get them to sound good, and also if you have a low, voice, baselines are LOW. in case you couldn't guess. =P

How do you do this stuff?

umm... lots and lots of work.... lay one track down, lay another one, and another one and so on... but ya... actually i am working on writing a song where i will be the lead singer... my voice isn't bad, so it won't sound that bad... lol yes toot i could do that, but then everything else would be too quiet... but within the time that i last did stuff i figured out how to fix it...
