Challenge collage
There you have it, my collage. If you can't see what it says, I gave the Z'05 game the subtitle 'Hyrulian Revolution' but after all was said and done I realized that it should technically be 'Hylian,' but whatever. I think it turned out quite well. Work done in Fireworks, pics from trailer snaps, and the Zelda logo from an OoT wallpaper.

This has to be in first place in the 'contest' right now. Best one I've seen so far! Thumbs up
dude_thats_evil  [Apr 26, 2005 at 07:00 PM]

din  [Apr 26, 2005 at 11:31 PM]
good job!
bathroomhacker  [Apr 27, 2005 at 12:47 AM]
thats is pretty sweet. the images blend in nicely
dudeofrandomness  [Apr 27, 2005 at 02:54 PM]
Well they ought to for all the time I spent on this! (aka. thanks) And the funny thing is there's a pic of link swimming and looking up in there too, but I decided it didn't go with the other colors well and covered it up with the Zelda logo. If you look on the bottom-right of the shield you can see the water a little bit. More people need to join the contest! Anybody? bth? ik? kr? I know you people have photoshop or something...(or you could have GIMP)
Iron~knuckle  [Apr 27, 2005 at 05:56 PM]
Are you kidding?!?! 1) I am nowhere near as talented with the ways of editing as you guys, and 2) I don't have Photoshop or anything like that, but I will be getting Flash REALY soon, so is it posible to edit things on that WITHOUT making flash movies out of them?????....
dudeofrandomness  [Apr 28, 2005 at 03:01 PM]
Sure is. Won't fireworks come with it though? If I ever GET flash I would get it in the Macromedia package with flash, fireworks, & dreamweaver. Fireworks is really much better (its made for graphics design) than flash.
dude_thats_evil  [Apr 30, 2005 at 07:18 AM]
only if you get MACROMEDIA STUDIO MX 2005. you can get each thing within the studio mx seperately
Koroks Rock  [Apr 30, 2005 at 06:49 PM]
Macromedia studio... is pretty expensive. i don't see how or why your parents would get it IK, unless yall have way too much mney and spare time. of course, a lot of people would be willing to hand over a pretty penny for dreamweaver, it's a very nice program. i prefer notepad+mozilla checking, but then again i use cmd a lot too, and i doubt more than three of yall have ever used it. just a coding preference. ANYWAYS, back to the topic: i'm working on mine, i rather like how this one came out but mine's going in a completely different direction. i hope to be 100% done sometime after i've done my AP exams and SAT next week.
dude_thats_evil  [Apr 30, 2005 at 11:01 PM]
thats why u just get the educated version cause its only $100...... which is still a lot of money, but much less than $400. becasue you can still put all of your stuff that you make with the education version on this site. My parents told me they would get the education version 4 christmas but then we realized, that were poor
bathroomhacker  [May 01, 2005 at 12:17 PM]
this might be a dumb question and completely unrelated, but how do u get images into photoshop and move them around and stuff. ive never figured out how o.0
dudeofrandomness  [May 02, 2005 at 03:09 PM]
The ever-so-magical copy and paste. Start with a large blank canvas and copy/paste into it. Making new layers to paste into is a good idea too...I haven't used photoshop in awhile so I don't remember the specifics. yup. And also you can open another picture file and click-'n-drag the layer you want to the other picture window.
Koroks Rock  [May 03, 2005 at 12:17 AM]
note that if you copy an image photoshop will naturally prompt you to make an image of that size. it's very nice. also, DTE, the education version is supposed to be confined to scholarly purposes, not private use. families aren't supposed to be able to purchase it.
Iron~knuckle  [May 03, 2005 at 02:01 AM]
actually, I may not have to pay, my parents have 'conections' *evil laughter* and they know the 'right people' *more laughter*
dude_thats_evil  [May 03, 2005 at 04:23 AM]
'to KR' wanna bet i was talking to my Desktop Publishing/Business Web Page Design teacher, and she was saying that I should be able to purchase the education version. I know that my sister got the education version 4 photoshop and illustrater (which i have been using )...... so TAKE THAT I WIN!!! I won a debate with KR Ha heh aha he!
the_ocarina_of_time  [Jun 14, 2005 at 05:47 AM]
hey, i like how you blended the pictures. this one's a bit like dte's one, but you didn't get lazy near the top (hint hint dte). i like the logo, it works well.
dude_thats_evil  [Jun 15, 2005 at 07:17 AM]
Well setting up mine was much harder than this one, because all Random dude had to do was cut out link's pic then paste it on, arrange it, then add a mask to it and have it fade in the appropriate direction. As opposed to mine which i had to select pics that would all look good together and arrange them accordingly and then cut down some of them, and do loads of other junk.

VERY Masterful Wallpaper! looks so professional too!
the_ocarina_of_time  [Jun 17, 2005 at 12:38 AM]
i think i may do one of these some day...maybe...does anyone use GIMP? do you know if it would be good enough for doing one of these?

No offence, but those Links look more like the Link from TP than OoT... still really good though.
