The Triumphant Hero
Ok... i made this song in literally 2 hours... and i also wrote this song... (ya notice the fact that it doesn't sound like any zelda songs u are familiar with *lol*) first off, this is (again) a rough draft (sadly) i would like to get in to more orchestra stuff... btw, i suck at playing cymbals... i need a little more practice... but this song is meant for any of the (future) zelda games... my guess is that it would be the ending/closing song of the game (the song that plays during the credits) ya and thats just about it.... let me know what u think!

ya i find it pretty catchy too.... i was busy recording ganondorf's theme, when all of a sudden, i accidentilly played that little thing, and i was like, WHOA I CAN DO SOMETHING WITH THAT!!! so i layed down a couple tracks and ended up with a success!
Divine_Link  [Oct 16, 2005 at 06:44 PM]
Oh this song reminds me of winter all of a sudden. Without the cymbals, it sounds like a perfect theme for a little Fairy Village. Excellent work, dte!

Thanks DnL! i really need to redo this song... it could be so amazing! i need to work on the orchestra drums mostly then i think i might have something here...
Thunderchild  [Oct 19, 2005 at 03:12 PM]
Ya, holy cow Divine_Link is correct, it does remind me of winter, and sledding and stuff. Thanks for putting your music here!!!
dude_thats_evil  [Oct 19, 2005 at 04:38 PM]
Thanks! Hey i dunno if its just these speakers, or the song... the drums are supposed to be much louder, u can hear the cymals just fine, but the drums are awesome! (in my opinion) hey somebody didn't vote 5/5, and i was wondering why, (i'd like to build off that) Hey, i'm now getting much better at writing my own stuff, i never really tried it before cuz i just didn't think i could do it, but i think i am on to something here...

as we've seen before, you can take a tune and make it into an awesome song. so, i'm guessing that it's not that big a jump from what you've been doing to this. correct me if i'm wrong. and i'm not saying this isn't good, because it obviously is. yes, it sounds like a winter place, sorta like what i imagine the first snow-world music in mario 64 was like. koji kondo said he did a slow, peaceful song, that makes you picture snowflakes drifting down onto a serene landscape. then he realized that it couldn't have been more out of place. speaking of out of place, i'm sorry, but this would be out of place as credits music. it's too short, and it doesn't vary nearly enough. the credits for OoT and MM have several tunes in them. WW's credits don't count. am i the only one who's angry at nintendo for the credits on gamecube? the credits for N64 were awesome! mario, mario kart, zelda--they all had great credits on the N64, and supremly crappy ones on gamecube. they'd better bring that back in TP. does anyone agree?
aquawolf  [Nov 04, 2005 at 06:43 PM]
i know- in OoT you got to watch the Gerudos do the Cancan, while all you get in WW is bubbles... *cries* lol
Koroks Rock  [Nov 04, 2005 at 08:07 PM]
i remember that article. koji is a funny guy. about the credits... ja, that was boring. but the rest of the game was good enough i think we can forgive them for running out of time on that.
dude_thats_evil  [Nov 07, 2005 at 05:11 AM]
lol ya seriously... actually i've been thinking, and i think it could be a song u could learn (on what ever musical instrument u get in the zelda game) who knows... I love your random tangents tOOt!
the_ocarina_of_time  [Apr 11, 2006 at 09:16 PM]
yeah i tend to do that a lot... but really, i haven't seen any good credits since N64. Mario Kart DS is the best mario kart game yet, and sadly... even more crappy credits. and the music sucks even more than before. anyway, i posted a song now.

That's beautiful, dte. I like how you layer the instruments and rythms after we've heard them individually for a fair amount of time. Keep up the good work!
