A quick sketch/ clean up of Link
Just signed up to Zelda Legends and noticed a fan art section, so I drew this quickly, cleaned it up a bit and submitted it :)

cool pic! did you do that by Photoshop? or paint? welcome to ZL!

Started on paper, scanned it, then put it on... Flash MX. I've just always preferred to use Flash over Photoshop. I'll be making a flash on Zelda, so there will be more soon.

Cool cool. This pic feels so retro, and there's no better feeling than the feeling of age! Or bbq sauce.

Thanks, I've always liked the early Link designs seen on the NES and SNES. It's the reason I limited the pallete.

definately got the Flash look. Very good for a vector image, but perhaps you should try adding in slight gradients rather than using the Solid fill. Just subdivide certain parts and make good use of the different gradient types.

I did try gradients on this but the retro style that I was going for suffered. I'm glad you noticed the flash look!
