LoZ2--Bubbles.jpg
LoZ2--Bubbles.jpgZelda 2 AoL Bubble Bunch402 views*sings* That's the way they became the Bubble Bunch!
(sorry, I couldn't resist the Brady Bunch inside joke)

Anyway, here is the Great Bubble and some lesser bubbles from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link. I used sprites as references for the characters, and their location is Great Palace (the final palace). I used VGMaps as a reference there.

LoZ2--Basilisk_Zora.jpg
LoZ2--Basilisk_Zora.jpgZelda 2 AoL Basilisk (Zora?)162 viewsThe basilisk monster in Zelda 2, Adventure of Link. But it could very well be Zora, hence the name choice.

Anyway, I used a sprite as a reference.

LoZ2--Acheman.jpgZelda 2 AoL Acheman399 viewsNa na na na na na na na ACHEMAN!!!

(Oh, come on! Like you didn't see that Batman inside joke coming in a mile away!)

Anyway, here's the red bat monster from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link. I used a sprite as a reference.

LoZ2--Stalfos.jpg
LoZ2--Stalfos.jpgZelda 2 AoL Stalfos160 viewsThe Zelda 2: Adventure of Link version of Stalfos. Showing once again how I suck at drawing skeletons.

This one's in Parapa Palace (I used VGMaps as a reference here).

Both a sprite and the official art were reference for Stalfos.

I used an official art as a reference.

LoZ2--Bago-Bago.jpgZelda 2 AoL Bago-Bago160 viewsThe bone fish undead from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link.

Perhaps its last moment in life was Zora's lunch?

I used an official art as a reference.

LoZ2--Ironknuckle.jpg
LoZ2--Ironknuckle.jpgZelda 2 AoL Ironknuckle412 viewsIronknuckle, or one of them, from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link.

I used a sprite as the lineart reference, but the color is from the official art.

This one is in Midoro (Swamp) Palace (I used VGMaps.com as a reference here).

LoZ2--Wizzar.jpg
LoZ2--Wizzar.jpgZelda 2 AoL Wizzar169 viewsWizzar, the Wizzrobe relative (and disciple of Carock) from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link. Yes, Wizzar is its official name--I checked it in a Zelda Wiki.

I used a sprite as a character reference, and for the location, I once again used VGMaps (in this case, Maze Island Palace).

LoZ2--Megmut.jpg
LoZ2--Megmut.jpgZelda 2 AoL Megmut157 viewsThe bouncing armadillo, Megmut. Well, the official art (which I used as a reference) of Megmut looks like an armadillo to me.

Anyway, it's another Zelda 2: Adventure of Link enemy.

LoZ2--Tinsuit.jpg
LoZ2--Tinsuit.jpgZelda 2 AoL Tinsuit161 viewsYep! That one hopping enemy in Parapa Palace (in Zelda 2: Adventure of Link)... the one that looks like a dog enemy in armor... it has a name in North America. It's called Tinsuit. So whoever takes care of the bestiary on this site, please note. (In the Bestiary, we only know its Japanese name--WOSU).

Anyway, I used a sprite as a reference for the character. For the Parapa Palace BG, I used VGMaps.com as a reference.

LoZ2--Boon.jpg
LoZ2--Boon.jpgZelda 2 AoL Boon149 viewsThe big fly from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link.

Make this big bug buzz off, if you can!

I used both a sprite and an official artwork as references.

LoZ2--Bit_and_Bot.jpg
LoZ2--Bit_and_Bot.jpgZelda 2 AoL Bit and Bot360 viewsBit and Bot, the two weak blobs from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link.

I used sprites as a reference.

Make great training fodder for starter adventurers, these two.

LoZ2--Doll.jpg
LoZ2--Doll.jpgZelda 2 AoL 1Up Doll102 viewsThe cute 1Up Doll from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link. Isn't it cute?

Weird how Zelda 2 is one of the few Zelda games (if not the ONLY one) that has extra lives. How bizarre, how bizarre.

Anyway, I used an official artwork as a reference.

LoZ2_Cave.jpg

LoZ2_Graveyard.jpg
LoZ2_Graveyard.jpgZelda 2 AoL Graveyard106 viewsOooooh! The graveyard from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link. I used a screenshot from a manual scan as a reference. Have the cross ready so the Moa don't get ya off guard!DBoyWheeler

LoZ2--Moblin.jpg
LoZ2--Moblin.jpgZelda 2 AoL Moblin348 viewsMoblin in Zelda 2: Adventure of Link, seeking to avenge his master Ganon.

He's a wee bit goofy looking since I used a sprite as a reference.

Anyway, beware of the spear!

LoZ2--Moa_and_friend.jpg
LoZ2--Moa_and_friend.jpgZelda 2 AoL Moa and Girobokku153 viewsThe two ghastly eyes from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link

For Moa, I used an official art as a reference. For Girobokku (exact English name unknown; I'll have to visit the Zelda wiki to know), I used a sprite as a reference.

Anyway, here they are, haunting a graveyard (I know Girobokku appears in the "Valley of Death" near the final palace, but still...). For Moa, have the cross ready--some of them are invisible otherwise!

LoZ2--Magic_Container.jpg
LoZ2--Magic_Container.jpgZelda 2 AoL Magic Container394 viewsThe Magic Container from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link. Get it and your magic meter increases. You'll need a LOT of Magic to take on the final foes in the Great Palace!

I tried to use a sprite as a reference.

LoZ2--Heart_Container.jpg
LoZ2--Heart_Container.jpgZelda 2 AoL Heart Container108 viewsHeart Container in Zelda 2: Adventure of Link, and it's kinda like Heart Containers in all Zelda Games.

Get it and your health increases. You'll need all the life you can get to survive the challenges ahead!

I tried to use a sprite or official artwork as a reference, but I think I eff'ed it up. Oh, well.

LoZ2--Treasure_Bag.jpg
LoZ2--Treasure_Bag.jpgZelda 2 AoL Treasure Bag323 viewsThe Treasure Bag in Zelda 2: Adventure of Link.

It's kinda bizarre that Zelda 2: AoL is the one of the few Zelda games (if not the ONLY official Zelda game) that has EXP. Anyway, the treasure bag gives you a little extra experience points. Careful, though--some are menacing mimics that hide enemies!

I used a sprite as a reference.
