Princesses,_Pirate_and_a_Bounty_Hunter.jpg
Princesses,_Pirate_and_a_Bounty_Hunter.jpgDifferent Version411 viewsIt's the same only difference is Samus, her hair is long, she has platform shoes and her suit is different...I finally found a Concept Art of Samus's Ze5ro Suit which I'll use for future ref. unless they (nintendo) comes out with a new metroid. Speaking of Metroid, OTHER M SUCKS! WHERE THE (beeping, beep) is Samus's (beep) FAN FARE? HUH WHERE IS IT? SHE'S SUPPOSE TO HAVE IT WHEN SHE FIRST APPEARS!! >O Sorry for the language. For those who's play Fusion and beat it, Nightmare is in Other M, Ridley dies in Other M by the Metroid Queen. And of course Mother Brain is back in a human android body. >< the only thing I liked was seeing Samus actually talk, and she DOES actually cry when Adam dies.

Too much spoilers....

LoZ2--Tinsuit.jpg
LoZ2--Tinsuit.jpgZelda 2 AoL Tinsuit159 viewsYep! That one hopping enemy in Parapa Palace (in Zelda 2: Adventure of Link)... the one that looks like a dog enemy in armor... it has a name in North America. It's called Tinsuit. So whoever takes care of the bestiary on this site, please note. (In the Bestiary, we only know its Japanese name--WOSU).

Anyway, I used a sprite as a reference for the character. For the Parapa Palace BG, I used VGMaps.com as a reference.

LoZ2--Megmut.jpg
LoZ2--Megmut.jpgZelda 2 AoL Megmut155 viewsThe bouncing armadillo, Megmut. Well, the official art (which I used as a reference) of Megmut looks like an armadillo to me.

Anyway, it's another Zelda 2: Adventure of Link enemy.

LoZ2--Acheman.jpg
LoZ2--Acheman.jpgZelda 2 AoL Acheman395 viewsNa na na na na na na na ACHEMAN!!!

(Oh, come on! Like you didn't see that Batman inside joke coming in a mile away!)

Anyway, here's the red bat monster from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link. I used a sprite as a reference.

LoZ2--Basilisk_Zora.jpg
LoZ2--Basilisk_Zora.jpgZelda 2 AoL Basilisk (Zora?)158 viewsThe basilisk monster in Zelda 2, Adventure of Link. But it could very well be Zora, hence the name choice.

Anyway, I used a sprite as a reference.

LoZ2--Bubbles.jpg
LoZ2--Bubbles.jpgZelda 2 AoL Bubble Bunch398 views*sings* That's the way they became the Bubble Bunch!
(sorry, I couldn't resist the Brady Bunch inside joke)

Anyway, here is the Great Bubble and some lesser bubbles from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link. I used sprites as references for the characters, and their location is Great Palace (the final palace). I used VGMaps as a reference there.

LoZ2--Wizzar.jpg
LoZ2--Wizzar.jpgZelda 2 AoL Wizzar165 viewsWizzar, the Wizzrobe relative (and disciple of Carock) from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link. Yes, Wizzar is its official name--I checked it in a Zelda Wiki.

I used a sprite as a character reference, and for the location, I once again used VGMaps (in this case, Maze Island Palace).

LoZ2--Ironknuckle.jpg
LoZ2--Ironknuckle.jpgZelda 2 AoL Ironknuckle405 viewsIronknuckle, or one of them, from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link.

I used a sprite as the lineart reference, but the color is from the official art.

This one is in Midoro (Swamp) Palace (I used VGMaps.com as a reference here).

I used an official art as a reference.

LoZ2--Stalfos.jpg
LoZ2--Stalfos.jpgZelda 2 AoL Stalfos159 viewsThe Zelda 2: Adventure of Link version of Stalfos. Showing once again how I suck at drawing skeletons.

This one's in Parapa Palace (I used VGMaps as a reference here).

Both a sprite and the official art were reference for Stalfos.

LoZ2--Bago-Bago.jpg
LoZ2--Bago-Bago.jpgZelda 2 AoL Bago-Bago157 viewsThe bone fish undead from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link.

Perhaps its last moment in life was Zora's lunch?

I used an official art as a reference.

LoZ2--Boon.jpg
LoZ2--Boon.jpgZelda 2 AoL Boon148 viewsThe big fly from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link.

Make this big bug buzz off, if you can!

I used both a sprite and an official artwork as references.

LoZ2--Deeler.jpg
LoZ2--Deeler.jpgZelda 2 AoL Deeler384 viewsDeeler no deal! (Ha ha, I tell bad joke!)

Anyway, here's the spider from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link (red version is probably elsewhere)

I used a sprite and some artistic license for this one.

LoZ2--Moby.jpg
LoZ2--Moby.jpgZelda 2 AoL Moby371 viewsThe experience-stealing bird from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link.

I used a sprite as reference for this one.

Take it down before it steals some of your hard-earned EXP!

LoZ2--Octorok.jpgZelda 2 AoL Octorok339 viewsOctorok in Zelda 2: Adventure of Link, and I used a sprite as a reference.

He may look cute, but drop your guard at your own peril! He may be getting a rock ready to spit out!

LoZ2--Daira.jpg
LoZ2--Daira.jpgZelda 2 AoL Daira354 viewsThe axe-wielding gator, Daira, from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link

The redder version of this guy is a pain in the arse, as he can throw his axe! This version (the yellow/orangish) is a bit more tame.

Anyway, I used a mix of the official art and a sprite as a reference.

LoZ2--Moa_and_friend.jpg
LoZ2--Moa_and_friend.jpgZelda 2 AoL Moa and Girobokku151 viewsThe two ghastly eyes from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link

For Moa, I used an official art as a reference. For Girobokku (exact English name unknown; I'll have to visit the Zelda wiki to know), I used a sprite as a reference.

Anyway, here they are, haunting a graveyard (I know Girobokku appears in the "Valley of Death" near the final palace, but still...). For Moa, have the cross ready--some of them are invisible otherwise!

LoZ2--Bit_and_Bot.jpgZelda 2 AoL Bit and Bot355 viewsBit and Bot, the two weak blobs from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link.

I used sprites as a reference.

Make great training fodder for starter adventurers, these two.

LoZ2--Ache.jpgZelda 2 AoL Ache234 viewsAche, the bat from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link.

I used a sprite as a reference.

And you definitely will "ache" if this bat attacks you a lot!

LoZ2--Geldarm.jpg
LoZ2--Geldarm.jpgZelda 2 AoL Geldarm157 viewsThe giant desert centipede frol Zelda 2: Adventure of Link.

Geldarm.

I used the sprite as a reference. Oh, and between Geldarm and Lowder, I wanted to do an AoL version of Goriya, but forgot--didn't realize it till it was too late. D'oh! Ah, well, you can see Goriya in my Zelda 1 art. Not too much of Goriya changed between the two games.

LoZ2--Lowder.jpg
LoZ2--Lowder.jpgZelda 2 AoL Lowder145 viewsThe big bug in Zelda 2: Adventure of Link. Well, one of several big bugs, anyway.

I more or less used the sprite as a reference.

LoZ2--Moblin.jpg
LoZ2--Moblin.jpgZelda 2 AoL Moblin344 viewsMoblin in Zelda 2: Adventure of Link, seeking to avenge his master Ganon.

He's a wee bit goofy looking since I used a sprite as a reference.

Anyway, beware of the spear!
