Dark_Nut_Back_Up.pngBack Up376 viewsI am ASHAMED to call myself a Zelda Fan, I've been MIA. This time, I have a good excuse! Back in Sept. I started a job working at a Trucking company. And I've been working there ever since. And.........my computer died......again yes...I've Pre-ordered Skyward Sword and ordered a Players Guide for it. And I was watching a playthrough of the game but the person just seriously stinked at playing it period...Seriously a person asks for help what do you do?
ANYWAY, this here is used by the Dark Nuts or Dark Knights in Twilight Princess when Link gets them armorless they'll throw their sword at him and pull this baby out, now that I Look at it, looks like both the hilt and blade needs to be longer....Of course, I'm working on a few more swords and hopefully the Goddess Sword from Skyward Sword IF, I can find an official art to it....

LoZ2--Tinsuit.jpgZelda 2 AoL Tinsuit160 viewsYep! That one hopping enemy in Parapa Palace (in Zelda 2: Adventure of Link)... the one that looks like a dog enemy in armor... it has a name in North America. It's called Tinsuit. So whoever takes care of the bestiary on this site, please note. (In the Bestiary, we only know its Japanese name--WOSU).

Anyway, I used a sprite as a reference for the character. For the Parapa Palace BG, I used VGMaps.com as a reference.

The_Princesses_____and_the_Bounty_Hunter.pngThe Princesses...and the Bounty Hunter(lineart)160 viewsThis is Divine Link's request that they made long long ago, and I'm sorry it took so long,(PLEASE FORGIVE ME) it was really hard to find a reference for Samus without her armor on at the angle I needed. This was also my first time drawing Peach and Samus^^ so I'm glad you requested this since drawing it was really fun! I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome, and I'll color it ASAP(probably tommorow, since I'm really sleepy. -.-) But I uploaded the lineart to show you what it looks like and I hope you like it!^^ Please comment!

Moblin.JPG
Moblin.JPGMoblin Lancer256 viewsThis is a pretty basic Moblin design. Ugly, fat, sort of a pig/human/bulldog thingy. His armor is very simple, since moblins aren't the brightest creatures, and aren't ranked among the great smiths. The armor is made of leather strapped together. His helmet has good neck coverage, and doesn't greatly inhibit vision. I gave him a lance, because moblins seem to faver them in most games. (Plus, that's what I describe them using in my Link's Awakening fanfic.) 1 commentsjiminycricketX

Zerudo.JPG
Zerudo.JPGZerudo Dragmire233 viewsI was just going through the fanart section and realized it's been eons since I last posted anything, so that's why I'm adding this. I actually didn't have nething new, -this is quite old.
It's a drawing of Zerudo Dragmire, my 1st D&D character. Since I wanted him to be cool, and Zelda games brim with an utter coolness that cannot be denied, I decided to combine some influences from Zelda games into a single character. The result can be seen above.

His name's a hybrid of 'Zora' and 'Gerudo', complemented by Ganondorf's supposed last name. The cape was influenced by the patterns seen on Ganondorf's and other Gerudo's outfits, and I designed the sword's sheath to look a bit like the master Sword's from OOT. Zerudo was supposedly born in a forest region, as can be witnessed by the Kokiri symbols on his armor. I even gave him gauntlets that look like Link's. ;)

Well, seeing as this is the only new piece I have available right now, I guess I'm really gonna have to start drawing again.

Pencil on paper.

crown was a copout and is 100% accurate to LttP. :P

And, er... yeah. I broke my own rule of "not larger than the screen" but I'm too lazy to crop it! waah.
this pic isn't terribly flattering to my curves, but it really showes off the dress well.
and yes, those are Zelda and Link cellphone danglies hanging off the armor :P just got back from a con. such things happen

the oni.jpgThe Oni1152 viewsWell, well, a very old pic of mine. Somebody reminded me I hadn't post this guy in this gallery so here you have it. A very Dan-esque Oni X3

This is my part of another trade with Oni_Fox_8431, one of the Great Ones of the old Zelda Legends.
I only had a poor reference of what his armor should look so I did my own version ^_^;;
This is one of my favorite versions of Link. I mean, it's not everyday that Link turns into a dark god of destruction X)

Link.jpg
Link.jpgLink539 viewsWell, here it is, my design of Link. Im not sure which game this link could fit into, so lets just say he is my own link, from my own game, that I designed, and ill never release. So there. With that said, here are some things id like to share about the design:

Well, first of all, There is the overall look. Hes adult, mature, and definitely made to kick some moblin butt. Some major things added would be the steel armor on the shins, gauntlets, and chest plate and shoulder gaurds. The chainmail makes up for the lack of true armor, and keeps him flexible. Also you can see little pouches here and there at his belt, and even some slash and stratches on his tunic, one of which has been quickly repaired.

Here are some things I would like to point out in detail. First of all, his sword, which is a original design. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v427/image57/linksword.jpg I don’t have much reason as to why I drew it the way I did, it just kind of came out of my pencil. The same goes with the sheath. As you can see, I made sure they would fit into each other nicely.

Next would be his pack and bomb bag. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v427/image57/linkequitment2.jpg I always thought since link is a great traveler, and has so much stuff, he would need a pack. So I gave him one. In it he would keep the things that he doesn’t need at the ready all the time, such as potions, jars, cloths, and various other items. The bomb bag is much different then the one seen in the games, and has its inspiration from a mail pouch. Easily accessible, but always at the ready. See my goron weapons design for more on the bombs.

The bow and arrow. Nothing so special here, just put a lot of detail into this stuff to make it unique. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v427/image57/linkequitment3.jpg

And finally the hookshot. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v427/image57/linkhookshot.jpg I spent a long time designing this. First of all, its strapped to links gaunlent, which was just a idea that I liked. Now here is how it works. Link points the hookshot at the intended target then presses the inner button on the handle. It releases the spring, which shoots the hook. As the hook hits the target and goes into it, the sensitive tip triggers the hooks that come out from the side of the main blade. They keep the hookshot in place. Then link pulls on the other lever on the handle, which triggers a spring on the opposite side, pulling him closer to the extended blade. When he reaches his destination, he simply slides the button on the side of the blade stem that disables the extra hooks, retrieves the blade, and there ya go.

Well that’s it. I love comments, so tell me what you think and what changes or additions can be made. Thanks…

hylain.jpg
hylain.jpgHylain Guard497 viewsOk, I havent posted in a long time, but just to show that I am still working on zelda design, Here is a hylain guard. Nothing out of the ordinary went in to drawing this, but it did take quite awhile to get the armor to look right, and to look in a way that he wouldnt be too restricted to movement. I tried to keep the roman-esque feel of the hylians from oot, but also added thier own little style of armor. I decided silver armor and black cloth would look really cool, and the triforce symbol on the chest plate could be bronze, or gold. Hope you like it, comment any changes that should be made.7 commentsBraxis
shiek.jpg
shiek.jpgSheik580 viewsThis is a major redesgn. I am a follower or the Sheik= zelda in magical disquise theroy, not the sheik = sex change theroy. So I started to create ways that zelda could hide her rather curvious features. Sheik is a very mysterious figure, so when I think mystery, I think of a shadowy apperance, a look that you cant tell if the person is good or evil at first glance. And so I drapped shiek in torn, dirty rags, and a cloak. I also gave sheik the apperance that she is fading into the air, and because the sheikia are called the shadow people, it seems to suit them well. Not only do the garmets confuse you on the gender, and make her mysterious, if you think about how she would move, and fight in battle, the wrappings would swing out, almost like wings when she uses her acrobatic movements, confusing eneimes by limiting thier sight of her body movements. Her armory consist of a long pale knife, smaller combat knifes, and numerous needle knifes, for throwing ( most likely poisioned tipped). Also on her right thigh, the handle of a whip can be seen. If you see this, please comment if you approve of the changes.6 commentsBraxis
Darnaku.jpg
Darnaku.jpgDurnaku366 viewsThis is the first of my darknut designs. The first and formost change is the name. These are enemies that you fear to fight in Wind Waker, that are great and ruthless fighters, yet they have one of the worst names. So I changed it to durnaku (Dur Na Ku). At least that is what they would call themselves in their own tounge. I could see hylain common folk calling them darknuts for a shorter, easier to remember name (like gator for Alligator). They still have their bulging design seen in Wind Waker, but they have become more animal like as well. This design is the base of the Durnaku. All other designs will be based on this( The same goes for my Goron and Zora, they are all bases to draw on). I plan to do a armored Durnaku, and also a wild one, untamed by the dark powers and fully animalistic in nature. Keep an eye out for them4 commentsBraxis
Goron Armor.jpg
Goron Armor.jpgGoron Battle Outfit556 viewsThis is just playing around with the goron design. I was bored and just started to doodle down things I think would look cool, and aid a goron in battle. The main armor is designed like the plates of a armidillo, so that it wouldnt interfere with a goron rolling up into a ball and rolling. It would most likely be 1 1/2 inch plate steel, trimed with fine leather, or maybe even dodongo hide or something. Dodongo teeth can be seen here and there, Robes to keep the metal from chafing the skin, and other various things. I orginally had him wearing a helmet, but I had the idea that they would shave their heads before battle, to symbolize their equality or something, so I took it off. They would keep their beards because of pride, kind of like the japenese and their topknots. Only the Tribal chief would keep his full head of hair, making him look the most terrifying of the army. I liked the design so I decided to post it, though I think some people wouldnt think gorons would wear armor, but oh well....14 commentsBraxis
