Zora Weapons.jpg
Zora Weapons.jpgZoran Weapons525 viewsI know these arent much to look at, but they were still fun to design and imagine how they would be used. Mostly they are made of polished fish bone and sheet steel, and are very light, but highly durable. They are for underwater and land use alike.

Spear- The most widely used among the Zora, the spear is useful inside and outside the water. The quick jap from a weapon with such little surface area would be a deadly attack in the water.

Knife- Great for close courters combat, a knife would be equally useful inside and outside of the water. With quick, deadly slices, a knife would be worn by any zora warrior.

Sword- Many for land battles, its thin blade cant take to much abuse, but it would be handled like a samurai katana with quick, powerful slices and fast foot and waist work.

Bow and Arrow- For land and water battle this specially designed weapon is made with a tightened string, with so much resistance that it could be used like a average bow in the water, shooting into it or out of it and even through it. Its land battle advantage is that it could fire arrows at such a distance that zoran archers are some of the most feared adversaries in Hyrule.

Dart Gun- Used only for land based attacks, a dart gun is for more stealthy attacks, and its poision tiped fish bone darts can take down a being in less then a second.

Shield- Equally useful in land and water battles, the shield offers some of the only resistance a zora has. Zoras rely more on skilll then defense, so a shield would be used by gaurds, mostly along side spears rather then the two handed sword. Its in the form of a sea shell, just to give it that ocean type feel.

The Illustrator was possibly Katsuya Terada. Notes: I had to think about where I wanted to place this image. Since it was from the LttP guide, but was illustrating back story for the original Legend of Zelda, I decided on this section. -Thought it would be fun to call him Gannon, like the original game text- silly me. Anyway, I love this picture of Link fighting Ganon, the silver arrow drawn for the final blow.Melora

well 1.JPGThe well225 viewsdid you know that the well in kakariko has a name? it's called the Well of Three Features. those features are: "Dark! Narrow! Scary!" (i'd have to agree with that)
well, i couldn't do a very good background. proD isn't good at textures (the grass, wall, and stones are all clouds and sky, with really weird colors). also, the wood thingy over it shouldn't be so light. but the actual well part of the well is pretty good, i think. i actually spent a few hours on this one--most of my pics take less than half an hour.

Tyrannus.jpg
Tyrannus.jpgTyrannus170 viewsThis is a bad guy from a fanfic I'm writing. I'll only give the name, because he only appears once. "Tribes at War"

This guy is forty percent larger than your average T-rex. That means he's more than sixty feet long, between twenty and twenty-eight feet tall, and weighs more than 8 tons.

His ribcage is different from the rex at your local museum. A t-rex has a barrel-shaped ribcage while this guy has a much narrower one like a dog's or a tiger's.

That mark on his shoulder? That's the symbol of a group he works for. He's a member of a group of cutthroats known as The Separatists headed by, yours' truly, Ganondorf. It's a good thing he was wiped out before the war began.

sheik_nude.jpg
sheik_nude.jpgmale sheik444 viewseveryone is entitled to their opinion concerning sheik's gender, and here is mine:

sheik is a man. no doubt. if you want proof, look at the official art of sheik (http://zeldad.com/oot/characters/sheik.gif) compared to the official art of zelda (http://zeldad.com/oot/characters/zelda.gif). there is NO way that zelda and sheik are the same person. i think zelda either transforms herself into a man, or takes on the body of a man. zelda's body simply doesn't have hips as narrow as sheik's, shoulders as wide as sheik's, or muscles like sheik's. also, the skin, eye, and hair color completley changes. so, we know the two bodies are completley different. but, you say, "maybe she transforms into another person, but that person could still be female!". if zelda can transform into any person, and she wants to be disguised as a BOY, why would she choose to take the body of another female? the conclusion: sheik is male.

you don't have to agree with me, but there it is...

pirate.JPGChillin with Jack418 viewsAfter seeing "Pirates of the Caribean- Dead Man's Chest" I felt inspired to make a pic with both Captain Jack Sparrow and a few Zelda charaters. Jack seemed to fit in best with the Wind Waker Link, because of his connection with the sea.

Its neat to imagine what the other characters in this pic are thinking. Lol!

Link.jpg
Link.jpgLink539 viewsWell, here it is, my design of Link. Im not sure which game this link could fit into, so lets just say he is my own link, from my own game, that I designed, and ill never release. So there. With that said, here are some things id like to share about the design:

Well, first of all, There is the overall look. Hes adult, mature, and definitely made to kick some moblin butt. Some major things added would be the steel armor on the shins, gauntlets, and chest plate and shoulder gaurds. The chainmail makes up for the lack of true armor, and keeps him flexible. Also you can see little pouches here and there at his belt, and even some slash and stratches on his tunic, one of which has been quickly repaired.

Here are some things I would like to point out in detail. First of all, his sword, which is a original design. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v427/image57/linksword.jpg I don’t have much reason as to why I drew it the way I did, it just kind of came out of my pencil. The same goes with the sheath. As you can see, I made sure they would fit into each other nicely.

Next would be his pack and bomb bag. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v427/image57/linkequitment2.jpg I always thought since link is a great traveler, and has so much stuff, he would need a pack. So I gave him one. In it he would keep the things that he doesn’t need at the ready all the time, such as potions, jars, cloths, and various other items. The bomb bag is much different then the one seen in the games, and has its inspiration from a mail pouch. Easily accessible, but always at the ready. See my goron weapons design for more on the bombs.

The bow and arrow. Nothing so special here, just put a lot of detail into this stuff to make it unique. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v427/image57/linkequitment3.jpg

And finally the hookshot. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v427/image57/linkhookshot.jpg I spent a long time designing this. First of all, its strapped to links gaunlent, which was just a idea that I liked. Now here is how it works. Link points the hookshot at the intended target then presses the inner button on the handle. It releases the spring, which shoots the hook. As the hook hits the target and goes into it, the sensitive tip triggers the hooks that come out from the side of the main blade. They keep the hookshot in place. Then link pulls on the other lever on the handle, which triggers a spring on the opposite side, pulling him closer to the extended blade. When he reaches his destination, he simply slides the button on the side of the blade stem that disables the extra hooks, retrieves the blade, and there ya go.

Well that’s it. I love comments, so tell me what you think and what changes or additions can be made. Thanks…
