LoZ2_Spell.jpgZelda 2 AoL Spell Spell507 viewsSpell Spell! Pizza Pizza! (Okay, that was a wee bit corny...)

Anyway, Link's used it to turn some tough monsters into wimpy Bots!

Sprites, screenshots, and official art were used as references. See "Zelda 2 AoL Shield Spell" for why the name of the Spell isn't in the artwork itself.

(Oh, come on! Like you didn't see that Batman inside joke coming in a mile away!)

Anyway, here's the red bat monster from Zelda 2: Adventure of Link. I used a sprite as a reference.

Anyway, I used a sprite as a reference.

Nibbles_[girl]_and_Chompz_[boy].jpgNibbles and Chompz149 viewsOh noes, monsters! Don't worry guys, these two are very sweet... until Nibbles, the lighter Rat, died from a sudden attack from a Hylian. From then on, Chompz didn't trust anyone who weren't monsters-sometimes he didn't even trust monsters. Give poor Chompz a chance though! He's the sweetest little Rat there could ever be!
Oh yeah, did I mention that Nibbles was his baby sister?

Isaktoki.jpg
Isaktoki.jpgIsaktoki113 viewsHe doesn't look like a Zelda character, now does he?
Don't worry though! Isaktoki really does live in Hyrule: The future Hyrule that is almost exactly like our world except with more magic and monsters. Isaktoki is the future Link's best friend and informer about every little rescue needed. From saving a kitten from a tree surrounded by monsters to saving a princess and Hyrule from an evil mastermind, Isaktoki contacts Link and tells him what/who he has to save, where it happened, and how many monsters there are.
One day Isaktoki was sent to the past. Now his headphones won't work, but at least he can still see. He meets the past Link and now he and Link must go save Hyrule from Ganondorf.
Isaktoki is copyright to me.
Link, Ganondorf, Hyrule, and Hylians are copyright to Nintendo
art is actually copyright to my friend and me.

ZoraCollab-Final-Elfwood.jpgFrom His Scaly Maw259 viewsAt dusk, a creature of the murk in the mire comes birthing, from his scaly maw, a fiery missile. A hand-drawn, digital-work of classic fantasy.

This is a picture of a Zora, aka Zola, aka River Zora. I did this one as a collaboration with Cuccolady from VGF. She did the final lines for the Zora, I added in bits and did the background, colors, & additional shading.

rickyrulz.jpgRicky > Link326 viewsYes it's true the roo is greater than the rider. >:3

Having played Oracle games recently I realised that Link is such a pain-in-the-ass to control, I'm not bashing the difficulty factor because gamers love a new challenge, and all Zelda games start with just 3 hearts meaning the monsters can inflict tremendous damage to your life-force, BUT here you always seem to come off worse whenever fighting a screen full of enemies, the hero moves like a stoned snail and his sword is pathetically weak! (you can't upgrade it until the last leg of the quest) …don't even get me started on those damn electrified monsters. ]:x

My annoyance sky-rocketed after the first few dungeons; then I found Ricky, and I actually started enjoying the game again. This kangaroo kicks ass! Ricky can move far faster, attacks bad guys like crazy, jump over cliffs easily, and unleashes powerful mini-tornados upon command. =3

Pity you can't take this companion into the dungeons. >.>

pinkrabbitlink_aLttP.jpgPink rabbit Link144 viewsAnyone who's played "A Link to the Past" on the SNES or GBA will know where this funny character comes from.

The game revolves around this corrupted dark world where you must retrieve the sacred Triforce but all mortals who enter here are transformed by the golden power into a reflection of their own heart. First time round I was really fascinated to see Link emerge in this dimension as a pink innocent rabbit, an ingenious concept for early 90s. Problem is you're harmless and everyone else has turned into ravenous monsters, not to mention the little guy only appears for a short time in the game. >.>

linkpico_ds_01.jpgPico climbing version 2 (Minish Cap II)146 views while ago I played Minish Cap for GBA and those Minish characters (mouse-like sprites) really made the game for me. I came up with the idea that a possible sequel could be made by Capcom's Flagship studio for that platform but then edited the original image to carry the up-to-date DS logo.

I used a 'light/dark world' scenario where in the Minish World the human characters become micro and the Minish folk themselves are macro. Link, the hero of the Zelda games, becomes stranded in this land and his size makes him helpless so relies on his young friend Pico to transverse the immense terrain. This creates game-play interactions on the touch screen where the characters switch helping each other overcome monsters and obstacles in a new exciting adventure!

A_modern_Minish_by_dan_heron.jpg
A_modern_Minish_by_dan_heron.jpgA modern Minish659 viewsFor my Saria "anthro" I had only a few choices since the Legend of Zelda isn't exactly creative when it comes to forest related monsters. The main choices were Dabas, Deku spruts and… I think that's all. The rest of the plant monsters are too abstract to give them a human form.

That's why lovely Saria got to be a Minish ^^ yeh, I know this little race lives everywhere, but they originally came from the Forest, and are always hiding from people, just like the Kokiris. Besides, they are so friggin' cute you want to hug them X3 Just like Saria!
I know only forest Minish have feathers like tails, but what the heck, a feather tail is cute ^^

Oh, and Minish have those really big eyes that are very shiny. That's why she looks a bit weird.
Oh2: she's a bit older here ^-^;
Oh3: she's human sized

Turn_the_heat_on_by_dan_heron.jpgTurn the heat on623 viewsPseudo anthro. This time, we have Carid and her boy-boy Koshamu. Since they are couple, I wanted similar "monsters" , so they are Dragons from the Legend of Zelda universe.
Carid (the girl) is a Barba dragon. If you don't know them, just think of Volvagia, our lovely subterranean lava dragon. Koshamu is a Gleerok, a lava dragon
As you can see from the pic, Koshamu is TALL, freakishly tall, and very well built. Compared with him, Carid is a tiny and helpless creature… but you guys know that the girl can crush skulls with her bare hands if she wants to XD

ChaosLink and Malon.jpg
ChaosLink and Malon.jpgChaosLink and Malon372 viewsSince I never got around to doing a pic for halloween,.I drew one that might be conciderd scary,.
Also GL kinduv wanted a pic of these two anywho.
ChaosLink formaly known as FrankinLink,.changed his name cause he was more evil then just a monster,.
just a short story Iv'e been writing,.too love involved for this site though,.
but thought the pic was good.
In the story ChaosLink was supposed to kill Malon but I changed it cause I like redheads..and in the story,Chaoslink is a clone of both me and Link,.so it makes sense.
