Darnaku.jpgDurnaku369 viewsThis is the first of my darknut designs. The first and formost change is the name. These are enemies that you fear to fight in Wind Waker, that are great and ruthless fighters, yet they have one of the worst names. So I changed it to durnaku (Dur Na Ku). At least that is what they would call themselves in their own tounge. I could see hylain common folk calling them darknuts for a shorter, easier to remember name (like gator for Alligator). They still have their bulging design seen in Wind Waker, but they have become more animal like as well. This design is the base of the Durnaku. All other designs will be based on this( The same goes for my Goron and Zora, they are all bases to draw on). I plan to do a armored Durnaku, and also a wild one, untamed by the dark powers and fully animalistic in nature. Keep an eye out for themBraxis

DELIBERATELY. For this one I've had to extrapolate the bg and also the wolf's neck quite a bit, which leads to the repeated patterns you see. sorry about that, but it's kinda unavoidable. i did remove the Hylian Crest and the text, to unclutter it, but i think that by changing the spliting line i recluttered it. oh well.
note that while this is not a perfect use of Rule of Thirds, \it's close enough for this purpose. think of it as Rule of Three Fifths.Koroks Rock

wolf_link.jpgWolf Link602 viewsThis was just a short thought of mine. I had seen the E3 trailer for the game and the idea that Link should be transformed into a wolf appealed to me straight away.
I don't even know if I should think of this to be really good or not, since I did it in quite a rush over three days (only little time on the respective days). The background isn't as detailed as I would have liked, but all in all I guess I have managed to get the effect that I wanted.
The picture truly is a mixed media one. Most of it is colour pencils, some of it water colours and some of it gouache. And then there's this part where the shade has been made with Photoshop... which actually doesn't make it a completely legitimate traditional art piece. But never mind. I barely had to touch the logo to get it in there nicely. Thank you, Macromedia! And are the edges smoothed out enough? Kado is a wolfo, brother of Link and Ari, and Mic is a Canis. The only differences between the two are Kado’s obvious extra muscle, and Mic’s sensitivity to nature and the planet.
I decided to give Kado a hoodie, cuz I thought he’d look good with one X3 He has the drawings of the Ayike and the Triforce on his back, and the Crying Eye and Crescent Moon on the front. Mic has pretty much the same design than before, plus some designs in her skirt.
And if you look carefully, you can see Mictlan is actually taller than Kado. I thought that’d make a cute detail ^^ That line running over her eye isn’t some clichéd scar, it’s just a tattoo; the Harincos have the same tradition than the Sheikas of tattooing their faces once their reach their puberty.
Btw: If you wonder where Mictlan’s hands are…. Well, I’m not gonna tell ya! Ha!

Oh, and there's another Purple Link in my fic, but he's very stupid (but very nice) and hates being called Vio. Vio is really Green Link's twin brother (in my fic), but he's got a different colour eyes (GL's are dark blue). If you have played Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, or you know someone who has played it, then you know who Marche is.
If you've seen the game's official art, then you have probably noticed that Marche has a gigantic @$$. Vaati has revealed why in my fanfic using only a pin and a voodoo doll (it's full of air and confetti).
Why is Vaati doing this? In my fanfic, Marche is the bloody jerk who deserves it. The Japanese text on the top says, "Oh no. Me bum popped." And Link Y. is PO'd.

He takes her to a near by town who nursed her back to health and gave her an oversized shirt to wear. Since she doesn't have a home, Link takes her along with him. Strangly though, she doesn't remember who she is or where she came from or who her parents are. But, the only clue is the headband of cat ears she wears...
