Nayru__Sweet_Goddess_of_Wisdom_by_Guardian_of_Heroes.jpgNayru, Sweet Goddess of Wisdom129 viewsThis is my very first picture drawn and coloured completely on the the computer! whooooo! lol i think it is good for a first try
This is the sweet Goddess of Wisdom, Nayru, from the amazing game, the legend of Zelda, Ocarina of time!
I was going to put the triforce in the background, then i was going to do the Zora's Sapphire, but then i realised that would take AGES for the way i wanted them to look lol, so now you know why there are highlights in the clouds
Anyway, what do you guys think? OH and if you look up close at the black netting thing, you will see the pretty pretty detail i put in!! It is like detailed embroidery!! or what ever you call it :p lol

sevenyears.jpgSeven years of lost time662 viewsRemember the manga, when Link is talking to Sheik, and he says he's not complaining about his destiny... but he claims "Everyone had those 7 years... but I didn't..."? Well... imagine how depressed and shocked he was at the beginning, when he finally woke up from the seal the Master Sword put on him. Having lost all that time and then having to save Hyrule almost by himself! That's what I'm trying to express with this picture. I hope you like it. It took a lot of effort and I think I finally got better at making the clouds and the sky. Just watching how Link's hair turned out to be (thanks, tablet-chan X3 ) makes me drool, and he's the best hero in the history of videogames!!! XD AHHH! Somebody stop me from fainting! *faints and drools some more*

snowy hills.JPG
snowy hills.JPGsnowy hills200 viewsVIEW THIS FULL-SIZE!!!! it looks way better.
ok, this is based off of two things: los's article thingy about the clouds, and the new screenshot of the snow. I've been restraining myself with difficulty from sticking snow in every one of my pictures, because snow makes stuff look good. and now, i have a reason to put it in! yay!!!
you may notice i did the bluish tint. in the screen, it was more of streaks than dots, but i can't do that, so oh well.
i know that hyrule field is a field, but i think it would be awesome to ride epona up and down little hills, like these.
this was simple to make, but i like how it came out. it looks... big.

sunset.gif
sunset.gifTwilight Princess Sunset378 viewsthis is an animation of 40 pictures like the one i did before. for anyone who didn't see the other one, this is the sun in the trailers for tp setting. yes, i know it's huge. both the sun and the filesize. And it still goes faster than I wanted it to. and the lighting of the clouds changes sorta abruptly, but that's terragen's fault, not mine26 commentsthe_ocarina_of_time
the calm before.gif
the calm before.gifThe Calm Before...303 viewswell, here's my second landscape animation. for info on how this actually relates to zelda, check the first one. this actually looks a lot like the tp weather, with the moving clouds and the cloud shadows. this is actually another sunset (you can see part of the sun on the--hold on--the right side). and the clouds aren't actually moving, it's just the light changing...i'll try to use that again later. this one was only 27 pictures, so it was less miserable to make than the last one, but i had to do it twice, because the first was over the size limit.6 commentsthe_ocarina_of_time
well 1.JPG
well 1.JPGThe well157 viewsdid you know that the well in kakariko has a name? it's called the Well of Three Features. those features are: "Dark! Narrow! Scary!" (i'd have to agree with that)
well, i couldn't do a very good background. proD isn't good at textures (the grass, wall, and stones are all clouds and sky, with really weird colors). also, the wood thingy over it shouldn't be so light. but the actual well part of the well is pretty good, i think. i actually spent a few hours on this one--most of my pics take less than half an hour.

WW sunset~1.jpg
WW sunset~1.jpgWind Waker Sunset191 viewsWow, it's been awhile since I've done anything on this site. With school, I have so little time. (did you notice i'm now capitalizing? it's a habit now)
Actually, I've had this picture for at least a month. But I wasn't quite sure what to do with the water. I eventually made at least 10 different versions (each one had 700,000 polygons), waited a week or two, and then just picked the first one i had done.
This was actually (partially) inspired by lord-of-shadow's article about the clouds. Yes, that one several months ago. I tried to do a stunning sky in a Wind Waker environment. I think I succeeded.

wwzelda.jpgZelda171 viewsSo, it's WW Zelda OoT style. I've had a request do Tetra, and Medli like this, so when I get time, I'll do it. Oh yeah, the hand is short, the pose is taken from the manga, and the clouds are sorta weird...yea or nay?2 commentszeldaiskoollink
