BHchallenge.gifBH's challenge1117 viewswell, BH challenged us to color his outline of the Gilded Sword, and two people have already done so. So I thought to myself "With competition like this, what's the best way to compete? work outside the rules!" so rather than coloring the sword like BH asked us to, i modelled it in Q2Modeller, my 3d modeller of choice. the sword is extremely rough-hewn, because each and every vertex and triangle was done by hand. if i get some positive reception, i'll up the vertex count and skin it.Koroks Rock

shiek.jpgSheik1116 viewsThis is a major redesgn. I am a follower or the Sheik= zelda in magical disquise theroy, not the sheik = sex change theroy. So I started to create ways that zelda could hide her rather curvious features. Sheik is a very mysterious figure, so when I think mystery, I think of a shadowy apperance, a look that you cant tell if the person is good or evil at first glance. And so I drapped shiek in torn, dirty rags, and a cloak. I also gave sheik the apperance that she is fading into the air, and because the sheikia are called the shadow people, it seems to suit them well. Not only do the garmets confuse you on the gender, and make her mysterious, if you think about how she would move, and fight in battle, the wrappings would swing out, almost like wings when she uses her acrobatic movements, confusing eneimes by limiting thier sight of her body movements. Her armory consist of a long pale knife, smaller combat knifes, and numerous needle knifes, for throwing ( most likely poisioned tipped). Also on her right thigh, the handle of a whip can be seen. nabooru2.gifNabooru1114 viewsI finally got around to creating a Nabooru fanart piece and I must say that I am extremely proud of how this one turned out. My goal was to make a much better Nabooru picture than the official art of her for OoT, and I think I achieved it. ^__^ The only thing that gripes me about this picture is the quality of it after I uploaded it to the browser. The .gif file was better than the .jpg and .bmp files, but barely. Please display it in its larger version to get the whole picture, despite the off quality.
Note: I drew her so that she does not look exactly like the official art, but in my own style. I thought the official art looked too unproportioned and awkward, and so made Nabooru look more human, lol.Nabooru

i painted this today because I was bored out of my mind and sick of doing all my art with the computer. i've wanted to do Link's head at this angle for quite some time. i think it makes him look so sleek. i've been on a link/marin kick latley. in this painting, i didn't want either of their eyes to be showing, it should be more impressionistic. i am quite fond of this, especially Marin's hair. I didn't use any references so please don't harass me about clothing. I wanted to draw Link with all his clothes on, but i was having a horrible time with his shirt, so i decided to leave it out. He is supposed to be in those little white tights he wears, having just finished a swim. yes, i know he doesn't wear them in LA and his hair is different... deal with it. XPcerasly
