naboru_adult1.jpgNabooru, colored1547 viewsI've started to use Opencanvas for coloring. I think this simple tool is much better, for such a biginner in paintings like me, rather than some programs like Painter or so. Maybe I 'd practice a LOT more, and then try those professional tools later :)
So, I must say, please don't be so critical 'bout it, since this is just for practicing, and I'm still in learning procedure.

Volvagia.jpgVolvagia Concept Sketch1546 viewsHere I am just playing with the volvagia design, seeing what works and whatnot. I only drew the special areas, and the small sketch of volvagia compares his size to link. What I did is add in the spike on the elbow, Crested his brow with jewels, and made his skin more rough and molten-rock like. I also added that spike thing on his tail, just to make it unique and maybe another weapon he could use. The idea is that lava and fire lie just below his skin, so when he stretches, fire seeps out. Anything else I should add before I put him make a final stage design? Braxis

self pencil.jpgA Different Gerudo King1535 viewsI've always wanted to know what the other gerudo kings looked like. This is a postulation of mine, using just an ordinary pencil and plain white paper. Not even photoshop.
The reference for the pic was, bleh, me. I have a very Egyptian look to me (gee, wonder why...), and so what better way of designing something than using your own body parts? yes, i do have a beard patch, but no, the rest of my hair is not like that. i have very bushy wild hair that i did not feel like drawing. i tried to get the shadows under the eyes right but it kind of failed.
oh, and the background... kind of cropped up halfway through the sketching process, i got tired of following reality. but then i wnet back to shading, which erased a lot of the Egytian details. There were several shading things i didn't like, but my hand was getting shiny and cramped, so i stopped.Koroks Rock
