the calm before.gifThe Calm Before...387 viewswell, here's my second landscape animation. for info on how this actually relates to zelda, check the first one. this actually looks a lot like the tp weather, with the moving clouds and the cloud shadows. this is actually another sunset (you can see part of the sun on the--hold on--the right side). and the clouds aren't actually moving, it's just the light changing...i'll try to use that again later. this one was only 27 pictures, so it was less miserable to make than the last one, but i had to do it twice, because the first was over the size limit.the_ocarina_of_time

I know it's hard to see with my watermark over it. I changed the hilt from a light black to black. Maybe I should have made the text smaller.....it's going to be hard now to redo it....

Bleh. This is a screen from my game Mod, in a level called Dormant Menace (which is actually a revision of my first game map, ever). The idea is that there are bodies and pools of blood left around from a recent battle, and this is just one of many.
I couldn't tell you how many verts are onscreen, because this compiles about three different models. there are about 4 textures being used, three 256^2 and a 64^2.
it took me about an hour to reskin and remodel the knight (which is not originally mine, but i've done a bumload of work to it). the blood spats took me about 5 minutes. place would have been about two minutes too, except that i changed some inherent apects of how this stuff is called, so it extended that prcess to about twenty minutes.
So, not a terribly long job, but a productive one with results i'm pretty happy with. Remember that there are about twenty of these in the map, so it has to be low-poly enough to not slow down gameplayKoroks Rock

link dance234.swflink dance.. now in 3d.1044 viewsdamit all to hell i couldnt get music in. there was gonna be music to match it, but when i used windows movie maker, it screwed it up and it got all choppy and stuff. then i spent like half an hour trying to find some video editing program, but couldnt. ah well. as always made in anim8or and converted to flash later
also i was gonna make him have actual breakdance moves and stuff, but it was too hard to do and the figure kept spinning in the wrong direction and stuff so... phht. bathroomhacker
