Wind Waker Sunset
Wow, it's been awhile since I've done anything on this site. With school, I have so little time. (did you notice i'm now capitalizing? it's a habit now)
Actually, I've had this picture for at least a month. But I wasn't quite sure what to do with the water. I eventually made at least 10 different versions (each one had 700,000 polygons), waited a week or two, and then just picked the first one i had done.
This was actually (partially) inspired by lord-of-shadow's article about the clouds. Yes, that one several months ago. I tried to do a stunning sky in a Wind Waker environment. I think I succeeded.

What should I call this? "Wind Waker Sunset" is just sorta... bland... you know? And is "Wind Waker" two words or one? I mean, is "Wind Waker" 2 words or 1? (i can't let immaculate grammar completely take over). I can never remember... ok, i checked, it's 2. i'll forget that by tomorrow.

ooooh definitely stunning. although maybe if the water was a little more... sea-ish? i dunno, it just looks kinda like a lake right now. still cool.

right now i'm working on an animation showing the creation of hyrule. you know, what zelda tells you. or maybe it was the great deku tree... wow, i really should be able to remember that. well, my trial period for MX Flash ran out, so now i'm trying to figure out how to use this freeware version to convert the frames into a video-ish thing.

i think i can figure out how to use my program. i just need to string a bunch of frames together, nothing more than that.
