I think these are called stereoscopic images... so, like the other one, cross your eyes so the two images overlap. look at the middle picture. it's 3D. kinda like... whatsitcalled... magic eye? yeah.... but cross your eyes, not relax them. yes, it's sorta big, so it might be hard. if you have trouble, back up a bit from the screen. i'm thinking 2-3 feet.the_ocarina_of_time

I realize that the lightning didn't work out like it should have. I think I'm going to add
sounds, including thunder, to it. eventually.
Also, I know it's
jerky, especially when the camera jerks before the sun moves. And the rest is just too
sudden.
But overall, I think this is my masterpiece (which, you could argue, isn't saying much....)
and I'm really happy with how it came out.
I used Terragen (obviously), Irfanview for renaming and JPEGing, MX Flash 8 for converting
it to Flash, and... that's it. BTW, KR, the code didn't work.

the calm before....JPGThe Calm Before...635 viewsanyone who's seen the trailers of twilight princess has noticed that the weather sorta varies a bit. there are a lot of storms, and i've noticed cloud shadows, which gave me the idea for this. i also got some inspiration from the incredibly green light that was outside my window while doing this. so, here is some (somewhat) realistic weather i hope to see--tell me if it's overdone, especially the greenness. and yes, it's snowy. for one thing, i'd like to see snow in tp, and for another, the lighting just didn't show up on grass.the_ocarina_of_time

ok fine. when i made this i had Hogwarts in mind (please tell me you know what Hogwarts is). so i guess you could argue that it's not a genuine zelda picture. but it reminded me of hyrule castle in TP. have you noticed that in the first scene of the first trailer you can see it on the horizon? i only just noticed that for the first time recently.
also, this does look like how i hope hyrule will be. lakes and mountains in addition to a big fat field in the middle.
oh yeah, i almost forgot. that castle was made by hand with paint. yes. and it looks really stupid without the blurring i did.

Ok, I'll make this quick. It all started a few months ago when i saw my old death valley pics (the ones that looked like the volcano in Mario 64; they've been deleted now for being bmps), and noticed that someone (RICKY, maybe?) kept suggesting that i add a "glow" to them. I had just learned how to do that, so i started changing some stuff, and after a few hours had something like this. About a month later i came back, made some changes, and went back to school. a couple weeks after that, i wrote a few scripts, and my comp worked on rendering a movie of this for 4-5 days (really). it was 26 MB, i got it down to 6MB, but my trial period for flash ended (KR: Help!!!). anyway, i took one of about 450 frames, converted it to jpeg, stuck it as my wallpaper, and uploaded it.
Yeah, it's Death Valley. That's lava in the bottom. I've gotten better at mist and sunbeams, as you should notice. enjoy. and, of course, COMMENT!!!!the_ocarina_of_timeApr 12, 2006

And in case you were wondering, yes, I got the idea of making music from dte. but the difference is that he plays his on a keyboard and i sit at my computer like a nerd and click the music into the computer to play. easier, but more tedious.
so anyway, there's a story which goes along with the song to explain the insanity. You're at the top of a mountain with some Ingo-type guy for some reason (I'll leave that up to you). Then you somehow make the Gorons angry at you (remember, they're enemies in TP) and the whole city/tribe/pack or them starts rolling at you. Ingo (or whoever) blames it on you and tries to attack you while you both run to your horses. then you start running down the mountain, with an avalanche of gorons and boulders behind you. you have to avoid them as they pass you, dodge the boulders and bomb flowers ahead of you, and fight Ingo all at the same time.the_ocarina_of_timeApr 11, 2006

Actually, I've had this picture for at least a month. But I wasn't quite sure what to do with the water. I eventually made at least 10 different versions (each one had 700,000 polygons), waited a week or two, and then just picked the first one i had done.

i took full advantage of the glitches in terragen for this pic. it came out weird. it's like those weird portals in the 3rd trailer. weird. so it's like, the twilight realm in the demented, sleep-deprived mind of me.
it's also symbolic in some ways. it could be night, or it could be day, or maybe.... twilight? .......ok fine, that's the only symbolism. unless you count the mist looking like the 3rd bowser's attack in mario 64.......the_ocarina_of_timeAug 31, 2005

ok, this is based off of two things: los's article thingy about the clouds, and the new screenshot of the snow. I've been restraining myself with difficulty from sticking snow in every one of my pictures, because snow makes stuff look good. and now, i have a reason to put it in! yay!!!
you may notice i did the bluish tint. in the screen, it was more of streaks than dots, but i can't do that, so oh well.
i know that hyrule field is a field, but i think it would be awesome to ride epona up and down little hills, like these.
