3D Death Mountain
ok, i shrunk this, at least it fits on the screen now, but it's still sorta big. it won't fit on your screen unless your resolution is 1024x768. so here is the description copied and pasted from the first, for those who didn't see it:
I think these are called stereoscopic images... so, like the other one, cross your eyes so the two images overlap. look at the middle picture. it's 3D. kinda like... whatsitcalled... magic eye? yeah.... but cross your eyes, not relax them. yes, it's sorta big, so it might be hard. if you have trouble, back up a bit from the screen. i'm thinking 2-3 feet.

if this is still annoying/hard/painful for you, you can just look at the image on this page, not the full-sized one, but it doesn't work nearly as well.

umm... this is supposed to be the same idea as a 'magic eye', or an optical illusion right??? As in you stare at it (looking beyond is the trick though ) until the two images combine to make a 3D model of the same pic. Well you failed miserably to achieve that... u should just take this one off!!! this one is TOO BIG!!! larger images are MUCH MUCH MUCH harder to fuse together...

i already explained this. no wait, i didn't. well, for magic eye, you relax your eyes. for this, you do the opposite-- you cross them. I believe i already said that...maybe where i said "cross your eyes"? and like i said, you can back up from the screen if you still have trouble.

??? I am so confused!??? oh now i get it! DON'T CLICK ON THE PIC!!! just to warn you all! if you do, you'll never get it to work!

to everyone reading this: if you listen to the confused dude, his confusion will spread to you. just click on the picture, back up several feet from the monitor, follow the instructions, and if you can, get closer to the moniter. the bigger the picture, the more convincing the illusion.

NO!!! if you just do it without clicking on it, you won't have to get out of your chair! I see it just fine without clicking on it! when i click on it, it fails miserably!!!

...d_t_e, ocarnia_of_time is the creator of this; I think she/he knows what others should do when it comes to viewing it properly. .__.;; Anyway, towards the pic, I have no idea how you crazy people make these, nor do I have any desire to, but I can still appreciate pieces such as this. : D Well done.

DTE, let TOOT preside over his own pic. i for one still can't get it to work, but that's probably because my eyes are shot from working too long.

for one thing, i'm a he. in case you didn't know. and for another thing, i don't care, he can say what he wants. although i personally can do it easily from a foot and a half, and i have a 17 inch monitor. and a note to OZF and anyone else who doesn't care, i did this by using a 3D rendering program, then doing 2 pictures, with the camera in slightly different places. this replicates the two different angles your eyes see, and your brain turns it 3D. a note to anyone who's trying to make thiskind of picture: don't make the camera position difference be just a few inches. i think i did something like 30 feet.
