The theme for this contest was Dudes in Distress. Unfortunetly, I had more time to work on this than I thought. I colored it with colored pencils, then found out that I had another week to work on it. I tried to improve it in Photoshop, but, well, as you can see... I ruined it...
However, the original one took second place in the contest! Yea!LinksLove

Koichi.jpgKoichi606 viewsKoichi is Link's older brother in my story, A New Life in a Pack. Obviously, this is Koichi in his "birth form", as opposed to his wolf form. He is half Hylian, half wolf. He has wolf ears, tail, feet, claws, ans, though you can't tell, long, sharp canines.
The base inspiration for Koichi's creation wasn't, as it may appear to be, Inuyasha, but rather, Aayame, Yuki's older brother, in Fruits Basket. The idea was for Koichi to look like Link, only with longer hair. The wolf features came later as I sorted out Link's mother's origins.LinksLove

They're triplets, the third is their brother Diligence. ... Odd choice of names, I know. I f you must know where I got their names, I got them from Metroid Prime 2. There are three robots in the Sanctuary Fortress called the Serenity Class drone, the Harmony Class drone, and the Diligence Class drone. I thought, "Wow, those names really go good together... I'll create triplets with those names!"

The fighters in Okami Village wear clothes like this to fight in, and also have markings on their faces. :)
I'm reaaaaaaalllllyyyy sorry I haven't updated my fan fic in forever...I'm suffering from Writer's Block, but I haven't dropped the story idea.LinksLove

I took a picture in my OoA manga, photocopied it, drew a grid over it, then drew the grid to scale on a larger piece of paper and copied the drawing square by square. I used number 1, 2 and 3 pencils. I only really screwed up on Link's hand. And a little on the harp.LinksLove
